Digital Training Services play an important role in the learning process by providing access to current information and expertise, to that effect, the Office of Information Technology provides:

Quality Training Services for the fundamentals of Microsoft
Office programs

Skills to create documents, to access databases, to prepare presentations, to manage personal information systems, and to find quality web sites for course work, professional purposes, or personal use

Tutorials to provide step by step instruction and background information

Instruction via the Internet to encourage independent study at work, or at home

Opportunities for users to communicate with the Information Specialist and to clarify user questions
Digital Training Services are Delivered in Several Formats
1. One to One Microsoft Clinic Sessions (Available to faculty and staff)
Private instruction for one or two people
Review or master Office concepts and techniques
Learn when, what and where you want
Get answers to your questions, problems, etc.
2. Self-Paced Modules (Available to all members of the Rivier College Community)
Work in the relaxed atmosphere of your home or office
Learn a new module with step by step instruction
Reinforce skills in problem areas
Learn new features of Microsoft programs
Spend as much time as you want
Work on a 7/24/365 schedule
Sign up for one hour hands on instruction
Learn in an electronic classroom with overhead projection
