Version of Internet Explorer Installed on Your PC

To find the version of Internet Explorer is installed on your computer:

Open your Internet Explorer program
Click Help button
Select About Internet Explorer

The pop-up screen will display information about the version installed on your computer.

Note:  When the computer in your office is upgraded, the latest version of Internet Explorer is usually installed by the IT Team. The two most popular programs are 5.0, 5.1, and 5.5  Do not install beta programs; they are unstable.
