Word uses squiggly blue underlines to inform you of potential problems with spelling in context. This is a great new feature in Word 2007.

Squiggly red underlines flag potential spelling error
Squiggly green underlines flag potential grammar error
Squiggly blue underlines flag words that are likely inappropriate given the context of the sentence.

Samples:

Activate of deactivate the option
Open Word program
Click Office Button / Word Options...
Click Advanced / Go to Editing Options section

To activate: click the Mark formatting inconsistencies check box / OK to save changes 

To deactivate: clear the Mark formatting inconsistencies check box / OK to save changes
