Preview and Print Multiple Page Layouts

If you work regularly on large documents you can preview and/or print your document's layout.

Open your Word document:

1. Preview Document Layout
Click File / Print Preview
Document displays in print preview

Click the

4 Pages Icon and a drop-down window appears
Drag the cursor to expand to six, eight, ten pages, etc.
Multi pages will display
Notice this document was scaled down to 27%
Click the black arrow and increase the percentage to view larger pages

2. Print Document Layout
Click File / Print

Go to Zoom section:
Pages per sheet: Select number of pages from drop-down list / OK

The printout will give a multi-page view of the document. The zoom feature reduces the size of the printout; however, the document retains its original settings.

Hands-on Demonstration
Print the directions, then
Click on Word: Causes of Youth Violence     (8 page document)
If the server is busy, please access at a different time.
